Kathie Allen is the founder and principal investigator of Allen Morris Investigations LLC, an independent investigation firm based in Irvine, California. She is a licensed private investigator in California (License #27033) and Arizona (License #1829951), a Certified Title IX Investigator, and holds the SHRM-SCP credential.
Ms. Allen founded the firm after more than twenty years in compliance and investigations. She served as Whistleblower Compliance Officer at the University of California, Irvine from March 2005 to February 2025, where she oversaw the intake, triage, and investigation of whistleblower and misconduct complaints. She also worked as a Workplace Investigator with Norman A. Traub Associates from August 2017 to January 2026 and as a private investigator with McCaffry PI LLC from June 2022 to January 2026. She volunteers as a pro bono investigator with the Public Law Center in Santa Ana, California.
Ms. Allen studied at the University of California, Irvine and Coastline College. Her credentials include Certified Title IX Investigator, Certified Mediator, and SHRM-SCP.
